Glycolipids as very mild baby and children’s cleansing products: Gentle care for the little ones
The skin of babies and children is particularly sensitive and therefore requires particularly mild and gentle cleansing products. Cosmacon, in collaboration with Evonik, has developed innovative cleansing products that are specially tailored to the needs of the youngest skin. These products contain a range of mild surfactants that gently cleanse while protecting and caring for the skin.

2. ultra-mild cleansing gel for babies:

- Ionic character: Anionic
- Solubility: Very soluble in water
- Viscosity: pH-dependent, increased < pH 5.5; decreased > pH 7
- Mildness: Very mild to the skin and mucous membranes
SOPHANCE® LA-A (Glycolipids, Sodium Lactate)
- Ionic character: Anionic/non-ionic
- Solubility: Very soluble in water
- Viscosity: Reduces viscosity at higher concentrations
- Mildness: Extremely mild to the skin, no irritation to the eyes
REWOTERIC® AM C MB (Sodium Cocoamphoacetate)
- Ionic character: Amphoteric
- Solubility: Highly soluble in water
- Viscosity: Supports the viscosity best
- Mildness: Very mild to the skin
TEGO® Betaine 810 MB (Capryl/Capramidopropyl Betaine)
- Ionic character: Amphoteric
- Solubility: Good water solubility
- Viscosity: Reduces viscosity
- Mildness: Very mild to the skin, excellent foaming properties
TEGO® Betaine P 50 SG (Cocamidopropyl Betaine)

- Solubility: Easily soluble in water
